I received a warm welcome at Aston Ingham Parish Council at their October meeting, where I joined as an observer to listen and learn. It was good to meet committed councillors working on issues that matter locally: ensuring the parish does not have to take on churchyard maintenance and ensuring the Flood group gets adequate support. I came away with a better understanding of the ward’s concerns—and a real appreciation for the welcome.
