I would love to have the privilege of being your ward Councillor – this explains why. I hope that you will be able to support me in doing so.
Penyard deserves dedicated, community-first representation on Herefordshire Council. As a Parish Councillor in Weston under Penyard for several years, I have consistently fought to get the best for our area. Together, we have delivered real results including:
- A brand-new community playground
- A much-improved Village Hall
- A stronger voice for local parishes through developing the Herefordshire Councils’ Charter
I know how to turn local priorities into tangible action. My background across business, charity, and community leadership gives me the practical experience needed to stretch budgets, protect essential services, and make local funds work harder for us.
I am hoping to be your Ward Councillor to deliver even more for our area, but I want to start by listening to you. Please complete my short survey by clicking here and help shape our ward’s priorities.
Thank you. Adrian.
A big ‘thank you’ to Councillor Harry Bramer
Harry Bramer has served Penyard Ward with distinction over more than two decades in public service, leaving behind a significant legacy within Herefordshire Council. Serving in key Cabinet portfolios—including Contracts & Assets and Community Services and Assets—he managed substantial public land holdings, oversaw core infrastructure contracts, and maintained tight financial stewardship across county assets. Throughout his tenure, Harry remained a consistent bridge between local parish councils and county leadership, ensuring rural priorities like highway maintenance, local policing, and planning regulations were directly championed at the cabinet level.
Harry is now passing the baton to Adrian Bagg, who hopes to build on this strong foundation if elected. Adrian brings extensive local governance experience directly from within the ward, having served as a dedicated member of the Weston-under-Penyard Parish Council for many years. Through driving community projects and parish planning initiatives, Adrian has gained deep, hands-on experience handling grassroots priorities—from village infrastructure and road safety to local land use.
Adrian is deeply grateful for Harry’s advice and support over the years, both as a trusted Ward Councillor and as a mentor guiding his candidacy to continue delivering for the people of Penyard.
